Third party maker Renderform have updated their site with more details on the RF-006 Gold Scout. Preorders are now open for upgrade accessory kits made to transform the Takara Tomy United Bumblebee and similar molds into Classics Universe Goldbug with new head mold and two new weapons. The kits is sold in one of four different colors to accommodate the different figure releases.

Below are the test castings of the final RF-006 Gold Scout upgrade kit. This kit was created to make one of your extra Bumblebee figures into Goldbug. As not everyone has a United Bumblebee, I have decided to offer the RF-006 kit in 4 different colors, to help you make your ideal classics Gold Bug figure, out of whichever spare Bumblebee figure you have. The main RF-006 kit is the G1 version, which comes in the navy blue color. However, since none of the figures have navy blue present, the color might seem out of place. So you might find one of the other colors work better for you. More info below, after the photos.

RF-006 – Blue helmet, face, 1x translucent blue visor, 1x solid blue visor*, 2x blue guns (G1 color scheme)
RF-006B – Black helmet, face, 1x translucent blue visor, 1x solid blue visor*, 2x black guns
RF-006Y – Yellow helmet, face, 1x translucent blue visor, 1x solid blue visor*, 2x black guns (ideal for Classics, Legacy, and Henkei Bumblebee)
RF-006R - Orange helmet, face, 1x translucent blue visor, 1x solid blue visor*, 2x black guns (ideal for RTS Bumblebee)
*The solid blue visor shown is just a test casting. The final color is still being worked on, and will be shown tomorrow night, with the second update.
