Prime
Updated: This post has been updated. See full article for more. In the Transformers Prime teaser of Season 2 Episode 15 "Toxicity", an Insecticon appeared to peer into something that was green and smoldering, and in this teaser image, we find out what exactly happens to said Insecticon. Yeah, that thing buries itself in the throat of the Insecticon while others look on. This episode promises to be very epic for the last relic (rhyme not intended) and will feature a battle between Bulkhead and an Insecticon, which, judging from the beginning of the video preview, the former does not far well either. "Toxicity" airs this Saturday on The Hub at 8:30PM Eastern, 5:30PM Pacific.

The images show the figure, packaging, contents and the designs for the Spike mini-figure that is said to be included along with a gun, cards, coins, toolbox, stickers, and brochure pack-ins. Fall of Cybertron
As the date on the calendar gets closer to August 28, 2012, the game makers are teasing more and more out of the game to keep the buzz going. Today, the buzz probably went a little higher than that when Insecticon Hardshell was unveiled - it might be a coincidence that Hardshell will also show up in Transformers Prime this weekend. Not much is known about the character at this point, including whether he will be playable in the game. What we do know is that Hardshell (the alternate name of Bombshell, an Insecticon in the Generation 1 series) joins fellow Insecticon Kickback in the game. TFC Toys moves ahead to other combiners with a new teaser image just posted for their upcoming homage. The name, Project Uranus, is not very descriptive, but it don't take but a second to see this is NOT Superion. Takara Tomy and Kabaya are continuing their candy partnership by releasing a new EZ Collection Gum series, consisting of repaints of Legion, or Legends, as they used to be called. Collectors Club
Fun Publications has also released a clear look at the artwork for Depth Charge, the Transformers Collectors Club incentive figure for next year. This is the same artwork that was shown during the club panel at BotCon 2012 where Fun Publications also announced their subscription service. The figure uses the Transformers Hunt For the Decepticons Terradive mold, and the organizers joked that Depth Charge went on a bit of a diet this go around when compared to his Beast Wars counterpart.

Generations
Hasbro has dished out official views of Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Voyager Soundwave and his repainted counterpart Soundblaster. Soundwave's design is essentially a larger version of his design from the previous Transformers War for Cybertron video game. The new feature with this mold, though, is that instead of cassettes, each figure will come with a disc, which may be launched from the chest and will transform upon impact. Soundwave and Soundblaster can store up to three discs at a given time. Take a look at the figures in the gallery, and see additional angles of Soundwave in our BotCon 2012 galleries.
